Biography

2007 Outdoor:  Proved to be a top pole vaulter in the region, taking first place at the MAAC Outdoor Championships (5/5) with mark of 3.33m and taking top honors at the Metropolitan Outdoor Championships (4/21) with pole vault of 3.23m... garnered top honors at USMMA Coach ‘O’ Invitational (4/14) with pole vault of 3.40m.

 

2006-07 Indoor:  Took second place in pole vault with mark of 3.20m at the MAAC Indoor Championships (2/16)... placed first with pole vault of 3.20m at the Manhattan Opener (12/1).

 

Before Manhattan:  While at Warwick Valley H.S., had personal best vault of 3.60m... was 2002 New York State Federation champion... holds pole vault record at her high school... while at Princeton University was 2006 ECAC qualifier in pole vault...

 

Personal:  Majoring in Counseling... born March 21, 1984... member of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society for education... parents are Jill and Mark...Mark Mante, a 1970 Manhattan grad, was a pole vaulter for the Jaspers and is a former Manhattan College record holder in pole vault (15’8” outdoors in 1970 at Central Connecticut)... has two brothers, Russell and Dave... Younger brother Dave is a two-time Patriot League pole vaulting champion competing at Bucknell University.
