2008 Outdoors:  Was 13^th at the MAAC Outdoor Championships in the 5000m run in 16:43.66.... placed 5^th at the Yale Springtime Invitational in the 5000m run in 15:36.42.

2007-08 Indoors:  Scored with a 6^th  place finish n the 3000m run at the MAAC Indoor Championships in a time of  8:38.22... took 1^st in 3000m run at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships in 8:44.32... was 2^nd at the Fordham Invitational (1/11) in 8:52.49.

2007 Cross Country:  Finished 37^th at the MAAC Championship (10/26), with a time of 27:30...finished 13^th at the Manhattan/Iona/Marist tri-meet (10/16), running a 9:36... finished 27^th at the New England Championship (9/7) running a 28:49.

Before Manhattan:  Grabbed All County honors in cross country, indoor and outdoor track while in high school... set eight school records... in high school was two-time county cross country champs and three-time county champs in indoor track.

Personal:  Member of National Honor Society... majoring in engineering... born June 7, 1989... parents are Richard and Dolores Brethel... has three siblings, Christopher, Kyle and Brian.
