Biography

2005 Outdoor: earned the Metropolitan pole vault championship with a mark of 3.90m (4/16/05)... scored with a third place finish at the MAAC Championships by clearing 3.95m (5/7/05)


2004-05 Indoor: captured fifth place in the pole vault at the Fordham Christmas Classic (12/10/04) by clearing 12'6"... scored with a fifth place finish (J3.65m) in the pole vault at the MAAC Championships (2/18/05)... cleared 3.60m to take seventh at the Metropolitan Championships (1/30/05) ... also qualified for the 60m dash at the Mets, finishing 14th with a preliminary time of 7.54s... jumped to a fourth place finish in the pole vault (3.81m) at the Manhattan Invitational (1/22/05)... finished eighth in the 55m dash (6.8s) at the Manhattan Invitational (1/22/05)


Before Manhattan: Name to the All-Shore Team as a high school pole vaulter... was honorable mention All-Shore selection in the 100m and 200m.


Personal: Majoring in physical education... born on April 2, 1986... son of Elizabeth Aponte... one sibling, Trinice Aponte.
