Burgess posted a career-best seven goals on eight shots in Manhattan's 15-10 triumph over Canisius in the squad's MAAC opener. With 14 minutes remaining in the second half, Burgess found the back of the net to put Manhattan ahead 11-10, a lead it would not relinquish. The seven goals are the most by a MAAC student-athlete this season and is tied for 11th-most in a Division I game in 2019. Burgess ranks third on the Jaspers with 12 goals this season.
