Johnny Schob (Huntington, NY / Salisbury School) carded a team-best 72 (+2) to place third in the second annual Father George Hill Collegiate Invitational at the Huntington Crescent Club.
As a team, the Jaspers totaled a 296 in the one-round event to finish in third place. Iona won the meet with a 294 score while Saint Peter's carded a 295 to edge Manhattan for second place. The Peacocks' Jefferey Peters won the invitational; he was the only golfer to finish below par with a total of 66 (-4).
For Schob, whose father, John, is the golf professional at the Huntington Crescent Club, the score is his lowest round-total of the season. He tied with Hofstra's Kyle Ritchie and Saint Peter's University's Michael Stewart.

Ryan Lynch (Boynton Beach, FL / Park Vista) was right behind Schob with a tally of 73 (+3), good for sixth place. Classmate
