Ijamsville, MD — Manhattan men's golf got to work down at the Testudo Cup hosted by the University of Maryland. Through two rounds of play at PB Dye Golf Club, the Jaspers are positioned in the top half of the table, in seventh, as the final round of play still awaits on Sunday.
HIGHLIGHTS

As a team, Manhattan shot -2 through 18 holes leading the 14-team field including high-major schools in University of Maryland and Virginia Tech.

Louis Vandeputte (-2), Róbert Leó Arnórsson (-2), Cabell Faulkner (E) and Dimitri Mihelakos (+2) each scored for the Jaspers in round one.

Vandeputte and Leo Arnorsson were tied for third in the individual standings after one round of play.

Joining the Jaspers in the under-par echelon after round one was Maryland, FDU, Virginia Tech and Mount St. Mary's who were each -1.

Mihelakos led the way in round two for the Jaspers with an even-72 performance.

Manhattan registered four eagles as a team on Saturday, with two each from Vandeputte and Mihelakos.
