Philadelphia, Pa. - The Manhattan men's golf team opened up their 2013 spring schedule with a fourth place finish in the La Salle Invitational on Sunday. Orignally set to be a two-day event, the forecast for Monday forced it to be shortened to an 18-hole tounament.
The Jaspers were paced by Chris Calabro who turned in a six-over 77, good enough to tie for 14th overall. Senior Matthew Creamer and Paul Toohey each tied for 16th with a round of 78.
James Edgeworth shot an 83 on the day to finish 33rd while Michael Giannico finished with a round of 87 to place 49th out of 63 golfers.
