WETHERSFIEL, Conn. - Senior Matthew Creamer shot a one-over 72 as he paced the Manhattan men's golf team to an 8th place finish at the 2012 CCSU Blue Devil Fall Invitational.
Creamer shot a 72 on Sunday after a 75 on Saturday to finish in a tie for fifth place individually during the first tournament of the 2012-13 season for the Jaspers. Meanwhile, Paul Toohey also finished his weekend with a 72, for a combined score of 150 and a 15th place finish.
The Jaspers as a whole finished in 8th place out of 11 schools at Wethersfield Country Club in Wethersfield, Conn. with Sacred Heart winning the team title.
Chris Calabro finished the two-day tournament with a 75 on Sunday while freshman James Edgeworth shot a 77 on day two of his first collegiate tournament.
Manhattan resumes their fall schedule next weekend when they take part in the Rutgers Fall Invitational at Rugers University Golf Clube.
