Biography

2008: Team captain...Played in 102 sets and 27 matches, making 25 starts at setter...Paced the Lady Jaspers with 875 assists and 26 service aces...Hit a team-best .293 for the season, pounding 80 kills and committing just 19 errors in 208 attempts...Also tallied 188 digs, the fourth-highest total on the squad...Dished out more than 30 assists 16 times, including five 40-assist efforts...Reached double-digits in digs nine times...Recorded a career-high 18 digs against Lafayette on Sept. 17...Tied a career-best with three blocks on three separate occasions (Sept. 28 at Siena, Oct. 8 at FDU, Oct. 19 vs. Siena)...Notched first career triple-double with 54 assists, 14 digs and a career-high 10 kills in the five-set home win over Iona (Nov. 1)...Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the third straight season.

2007: Started 29 matches at setter, appearing in 110 of the team’s 113 sets...Tallied team-highs with 1110 assists and 39 service aces while also contributing 243 digs, the fourth-highest total on the squad...Recorded five aces at Hartford on Aug. 26...Had a career-high 16 digs to go along with 55 assists against Seton Hall (Sept. 1)...Posted seven kills in both Iona matches (Oct. 7, Oct. 13)...Earned a place on the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season.

2006: Led the team in assists (1298) and service aces (55)...Set career-highs with 17 digs and 42 assists against Wagner in the Seton Hall Invitational (Sept. 8)...Nominated as the MAAC’s representative for the NCAA Sportsmanship Award...Named to ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-District Team and MAAC All-Academic Team.

2005: Served as the back-up setter and appeared in all 33 of the team’s matches...Recorded at least 20 assists six times, including a career-high 60 on two occasions (Sept. 30 vs. Marist, Nov. 5 vs. Loyola)...Completed her rookie campaign with 315 assists, an average of 4.38 per game.

Before Manhattan: Team captain during her junior and senior seasons at James River High School...Named First Team All-Metro by the Richmond Times-Dispatch...Selected as the Dominion District and Central Regional Player of the Year as a senior...Earned a Second Team All-State selection...Member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
