Biography

2007: Team Co-Captain.

2006: Appeared in 13 games, making 10 starts... posted a 4-4 record with a 4.44 ERA... did not allow an earned run while fanning five in win over Saint Peter’s... earned the win in the MAAC Championship Game win over Le Moyne, hurling eight innings without issuing a walk... worked seven innings and was the winning pitcher in the win over San Francisco that propelled Manhattan to the NCAA Regional Final.

2005: Appeared in 12 games, all in a starting role... went 6-3 with a 2.91 ERA over 77.1 innings of work... struck out 52 batters... went the distance vs. Marist... tallied at least three strikeouts in all 12 starts, with a high of seven recorded twice... surrendered two earned runs or less in nine of his 12 starts... played his summer baseball with the Chatham A’s of the Cape Cod League.

2004: Appeared in 17 games, making 13 starts... led the team with a 4.46 ERA and a 7-4 record... second on the team with 67 strikeouts and 78.2 innings pitched... picked up his first win in his collegiate debut, going five innings in an 8-7 win at Delaware State... also recorded two saves... went 5 or more innings in 10 of his 13 starts... led the team with three complete games... posted a season-high nine K’s in a complete game win over Iona... allowed just one earned run with eight strikeouts in MAAC Playoff win over Niagara... named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named Metro Conference Player of the Year as a senior... posted a 10-0 record and a 0.13 ERA as a senior... team won State Championship his senior season... team won Metro Title three consecutive years.... also played basketball and was named All-Conference Honorable Mention his senior season.

PERSONAL: Major is physical education... parents are Dana and Lynn... one brother, Scott.
