OCEAN VIEW, N.J. – The Manhattan golf team sits sixth after the first day of the South Jersey Spring Kickoff at the Shore Gate Golf Club.
The Jaspers have a team score of 338 (+50). La Salle leads the field with a team score of 305 (+17). Justin Burkhamer sits atop the individual standings with a 71 (-1).
For Manhattan,
Tyler Nguyen is the top individual in T20 at 82 (+10).
Lincoln Haymaker and
Colby Norton are T30 with an 85 (+13).
Nguyen shot a 37 (+1) on the front nine Saturday, which included a birdie on the par 4 fourth. Norton was also 1-over on the front, with a pair of birdies on the first and fourth holes. Haymaker shot a 41 (+5) on the back nine.
Day two action gets underway on Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Shore Gate Golf Club.
