Sydney Harwood scored her second-straight game-winning goal in as many Sundays in lifting Manhattan past LIU by a 2-1 count at the LIU Soccer Park.
* With their second-straight victory, the Jaspers improve to 2-1-0, while the Sharks are now 0-3-1.

* Tied at 1-1 in the 88th minute, Harwood corralled a loose ball and lofted it past the goalkeeper into the left-hand corner of the goal in providing the eventual game-winner.

Olivia Maldonado smashed a shot off the cross bar, before it bounced past the goal line off the deflection.
* The goal was the first of her career and now gives her four career points.

Ianah Mackey fed the ball to Maldonado, in registering her first career collegiate point.
* The goal was set up by freshman Amit Arora, who generated a corner kick on a shot attempt that fueled the subsequent Jasper score.
* LIU opened the scoring in the 69th minute.
* The first half was played mainly in the middle of the field, as both teams combined for just five shots and three corner kicks.

Eve Montgomery generated the best Manhattan opportunities in the stanza with a pair of shots in the fifth minute, before classmate
Bri Floyd registered a shot in the 10th minute.
* The Jaspers also registered a pair of corner kicks in the 26th minute, and despite some good opportunities, were unable to get a shot off.
