Early in the second half, the Jaspers had an opportunity to even the score as junior
Bri DeLeo (Harriman, NY / Monroe-Woodbury) broke free and fired a shot that blasted off the crossbar. Unfortunately, on the rebound Manhattan was whistled for being offside while nullifying an easy scoring opportunity.
The Tigers scored the lone goal of the night in the 15th minute when Kelsey Oen headed a cross from Isabella Pariente into the upper left corner of the net.
Senior
Camryn Nici (Seaford, NY / St. Anthony's) had another outstanding performance in net, registering eight saves.
Manhattan is now 1-5, while Pacific improves to 2-5.
