Manhattan Bested At Binghamton

 Binghamton posted a 2-0 win over Manhattan in non-conference action at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

Essie Bonney scored both goals as the Bearcats improve to 3-1 while the Jaspers fall to 0-4.

In defeat, senior Camryn Nici (Seaford, NY / St. Anthony's) turned in another outstanding performance in registering a career-high 13 saves.

Bonney notched her first goal in the 25th minute off a pass from Erin Theiller, before putting the game away with a score in the 84th minute with Olivia McKnight registering the assist.

Haylee Poltorak made two saves in earning the win for Binghamton.

Notes
* Junior Bri DeLeo (Harriman, NY / Monroe-Woodbury) had a team-high three shots.  

* Playing in her hometown, Kaitlyn Cooke (Fr., Vestal, NY / Vestal) made an impressive block in front of an empty net in the 70th minute.

* Junior Lindsey Healy (Vernon, NJ / Pope John XXIII Regional) earned the start in her season debut.

* Nici is averaging 9.3 saves per game.

* Binghamton posted advantages in shots (21-5), shots on goal (15-2) and corner kicks (6-1).
