Riverdale, NY -
Marist held off a late-charging Manhattan squad by a 1-0 count on Senior Day at Gaelic Park.

The Red Foxes scored what would prove to be the lone goal in the 56th minute when Nicole Sasso headed in Alexa Svensson's corner kick.

Manhattan had a great opportunity to net the equalizer in the 70th minute, but freshman Eve Montgomery's (Abington, MA / Whitman-Hanson Regional) shot went wide left following a scrum in the box.

In the 89th minute, sophomore Maddie Barrow (Ramsey, NJ / Ramsey) fired a shot on goal that was turned away while resulting in a Jasper corner kick. Unfortunately, Tia Painilainen's (Espoo, Finland / Arizona) corner kick was kicked out and Marist closed out the win.

The Red Foxes improve to 7-6-1 and 5-2-0 in the MAAC while the Jaspers fall to 3-7-2 and 2-4-1 in the league.

Senior Kelly DiGregorio (Centereach, NY / St. Anthony's) made four saves in goal while Abigail Renaud also had four in picking up the win.
