Michael Pfenninger (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) got aboard via a one-out single before moving to third on a field error. Senior
Evan Brown (Ashburnham, MA / Bridgton Academy (ME)) followed with a successful safety squeeze in plating the first score.
One inning later, the Jaspers added to the lead with another unearned run. Junior
Adam Genners (Jacksonville, FL / Stanton College Prep) reached via a one-out single and would come around to score on classmate
Brendan Bisset's (New City, NY / Don Bosco Prep (NJ) RBI single.
Seton Hall got one run back in the bottom of the second on a RBI ground out before taking the lead with three runs in the fourth.
Matt Toke would push the lead out to 6-2 with a two-run double in the sixth before the Pirates added one more run in the seventh while providing the final 7-2 score.

Joe Jacques (Shrewsbury, NJ / Red Bank Regional) was saddled with the loss, yielding five runs on six hits with three strikeouts over 5.0 innings.
