Alyssa Getzel certainly made her presence felt in Manhattan Volleyball's 3-1 triumph over Wagner College on Friday evening in Walsh Gym on the campus of tournament host Seton Hall University. Getzel recorded new career-highs in both assists and digs with 42 and 17, respectively.
The night also brought about a new career-high for freshman outside hitter Kandice Watson who pounded out 13 kills in the winning effort.

Andrea Reiff was also converting Getzel's passes into points to the tune of 12 kills, while digging adding 13 digs and a match-high five aces on the defensive end.
The Lady Jaspers' service game was a key factor in their ability to earn their second victory of the young season. Manhattan connected on 11 aces compared to one by the Seahawks. In addition to Reiff's five, Getzel notched three aces, Watson added two, and senior co-captain
Meghan Plunkett contributed one.
The Lady J's continue play at the Seton Hall Invitational tomorrow afternoon when they take on Fordham University and host SHU.
