Biography

2008-09 Indoor:  Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team ... garnered bronze medal in the high jump with mark of 1.79 at the MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships... grabbed 1st placed in 55 dash in 6.7s at Manhattan/Fordham/Southern Connecticut Tri-Meet... placed 7th in long jump at Jasper Invitational with mark of 5.99m... also placed 5th at that meet in 55m dash in 7.0.

2009 Outdoors:  Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team... was part of gold medal winning 4x100m relay team at the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships... also scored 6th place points at that meet in the high jump with a mark of 1.69m... placed 2nd in the 100m dash in 11.18s at the St. John's Monday Meeting Meet.

2008 Outdoors:  Was part of the winning 4x100 relay team at the MAAC Outdoor Championship; finished 4th at the meet in the 100m dash in 11.25.

 

2007-08 Indoors:  Was 3rd in the long jump at the Manhattan Opener with a mark of 6.69m.

 

Before Manhattan:  Set school record in long jump (22’3/4”)... garnered all Western Mass 1st team award for track and field for 2006 and 2007... High school track and field MVP for 2006 and 2007... Received first place medal in long jump at Western Mass tournament... 1st place overall in 4x100 relay at Western Mass tournament in 2004... Palmer High School Male Athlete of the Year in 2007.

 

Personal:  Recipient of Science Award senior year of high school... majoring in biology... born December 14, 1988... parents are Jody and Sean McDonough...has two siblings:  Kerry and Tara.
