SPRINGFIELD, PA — Manhattan men's golf took to Rolling Green Golf Course on Monday for the Columbia Spring Invitational hosted by Columbia University. Among 12 squads, the Jaspers took ninth place, finishing ahead of Merrimack, Villanova and Saint Francis, respectively.

Louis Vandeputte continued his strong freshman campaign by leading the Jaspers with a score of +8 across the two rounds. His 72 (+2) in round one tied for fourth best among all golfers.

The second round was highlighted by scores of 73 (+3) from freshman Róbert Leó Arnórsson and junior Dimitri Mihelakos.

Freshman Cabell Faulkner and graduate student Ashley Sewell also scored for Manhattan.
UP NEXT
Manhattan will close this week competing for the Testudo Cup hosted by the University of Maryland. The Jaspers will play three rounds, including two on Saturday and one on Sunday, at PB Dye Golf Club in Ijamsville, Maryland.
