JERSEY CITY, NJ - Manhattan enters the final stretch of the 2024-25 regular season two games over .500 with a rematch between the Saint Peter's Peacocks next on the schedule. The last time the two teams met, was in December, on the annual Kids Day inside Draddy Gymnasium. The Jaspers shot a season low 29% from the floor that morning, and were stunned by the Peacocks. Fast forward 11 games later, and Heather Vulin's squad is as resilient as ever. Sophomore forward Kristina Juric recorded a career afternoon against Sacred Heart on Saturday with 18 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocks in the overtime thriller. The Jaspers were without the elder Juric due to an illness, while junior guard Brianna Davis was recovering from an illness as well. Manhattan sits one game ahead of the Peacocks in the "March to Atlantic City". With only 10 teams making the tournament, the stakes are getting higher as time goes on.
