RICHMOND, V.A. — Manhattan men's and women's swimming & diving teams have attained CSCAA Scholar All-America Team status for the Fall 2024 semester, according to a release from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America. The Jaspers were among 781 swimming and diving teams from all three levels of NCAA competition to be awarded the honor.

Manhattan women's swimming and diving team compiled a 3.34 cumulative GPA for the Fall semester. The men's squad registered a 3.28 cumulative GPA last semester.

"With many variables in coaching to have to worry about, the classroom is not one that I have to worry too much about because our team is academically driven with a focus on their futures," said Brian Hansbury, head coach of Manhattan men's and women's swimming & diving. "It is so nice to see their hard work acknowledged by the CSCAA and what a great group of other schools to be bunched in with. This is a true honor for our Jasper swimmers."

Both teams will return to the water next week for the MAAC Championships (Feb. 12-15) at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
