Coach's Reaction
-"I was very pleased with today's results. I'm seeing the pieces we need for November 2 (MAAC Championship) start to come together." - Kerri Inman, Manhattan Director of Cross Cross and Track & Field
-"It was great seeing Adri (Adrian Alonso) and Kylie lead the team in some tactical ways."
Trust the Process
Senior Kylie Conroy: "Today was a lot hotter than I expected it to be. I got out in a good position and you kind of have to because the course narrows down really quickly. This course is definitely a lot less hillier than the past few courses we were at so that definitely felt good on the legs."
More from Conroy: "We've been working on packing up so for whoever is in front of you just look for green. It helps us work for each other instead of ourselves so for me it was definitely hard to not have someone like Mikaella in front of me."
Next Time Out
Manhattan will get a lengthy rest from competition before returning for the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Saturday, Oct. 5. That meet will be held at Goodman Campus Cross Country Course right off of the Lehigh campus.
