RIVERDALE, NY – #3 Manhattan men's lacrosse pulls off a comeback thriller against #6 Quinnipiac and advances to the MAAC Championships Semi-finals to face #2 LIU.

The Jaspers secure victory over the Bobcats in a dramatic comeback, clinching the win by a one-goal margin. They achieve this feat by scoring a season-high seven goals in a single quarter, erasing a six-goal deficit.

The Jaspers' comeback gains momentum late in the third quarter with two last-minute goals, the first by Liam Peabody and the second by Kelly DuPree, both assisted by Kyle Gucwa. These goals ignite the monumental comeback for the Jaspers.

Entering the fourth quarter, the Jaspers record their first winning quarter of the game, limiting the Bobcats to only two goals while outscoring them 7-2. Despite a seemingly insurmountable challenge, the Jaspers score four goals in under four minutes, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Following a timeout forced by the Bobcats, they break the tie and end the Jaspers' six-goal streak with a goal at 4:43 remaining. The teams then trade goals for the final four minutes. As the Jasper bench begins the countdown, ten, nine, eight, seven…BANG! James Basile whips a shot into the back of the Bobcats' net with six seconds remaining.

The Jaspers' bench floods the field in celebration as the clock winds down, relishing the opportunity to compete in next week's semifinals.

The Jaspers will face #2 LIU this Thursday, April 21, at 6:00 PM in Gaelic Park.
