Softball Prepares for Spring Games

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan Softball team will play in their third and final early season tournament this weekend with a second trip to Florida, this time to Madeira Beach to participate in the Spring Games. The Jaspers will be in Florida for three days, taking on six different opponents.

Schedule: Manhattan will kick off their trip on Friday, March 8th, taking on Sacred Heart at 10:00 a.m. and Central Michigan at 3:30 p.m. Saturday they will play another doubleheader, taking on Stonehill at 3:00 p.m. and Bucknell at 5:30 p.m. Sunday will be the Jaspers last two games of the classic, as they will play Chattanooga at 10:00 a.m. and Colgate at 12:00 p.m.

Sacred Heart: The Pioneers have started the season off 4-9. Manhattan leads the all-time series with Sacred Heart 12-5.

Central Michigan: The Chippewas have started the season off 1-14. This will be the first ever meeting between the two programs.

Stonehill: The Skyhawks have started the season off 1-4. This will be the first ever meeting between the two programs. 

Bucknell: The Bison have started the season off 6-9. Bucknell leads the all-time series with Manhattan 3-0. 

Chattanooga: The Mocs have started the season off 13-7. This will be the first ever meeting between the two programs. 

Colgate: The Raiders have started the season off 5-9. Colgate leads the all-time series with Manhattan 6-2.

Leaders: Lindsey Hoag has led the Jaspers so far this year with a .304 average, and 3 RBI. Maddy Weir is batting .296 with a home run and 4 RBI.
