RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan women's lacrosse travels to Philadelphia, P.A. for one last road game before their non-conference home opener against LIU next week.

The Jaspers will take on Temple University, their last game on the road before the long home stint which will span three games.

The Jaspers lost their first match of the season last Saturday against Rutgers University, 20-10. The Jaspers saw a high-scoring offense for their first game of the season, with two players putting up hat tricks. Leading the offense for the Jaspers last week were Reagan Mullins and Lauren Maher. Both players dropped three goals each, with each player scoring one goal in the second, third, and fourth periods.

The Owls are coming into the matchup after two strong home wins. The first of the season was against Colgate University, 11-5, and the second was against Binghamton University, 15-6. Leading the Owls team to the two victories are Amelia Wright with three goals against Binghamton and Belle Mastropietro with two goals, one assist, and four ground balls against Colgate.

This will be the first time that Manhattan and Temple's women's lacrosse teams go up against each other.
