BURLINGTON, VT - Manhattan is off to its best start under the Heather Vulin-era after successfully coming away with six of its first eight games played. Graduate forward Leyla Ozturk sits 16th in Division 1 with 20 blocks on the season. The Jaspers are playing its final non-conference game of the season, and look to enter the latter stages of 2024 on a high note. Historically against the Catamounts, the Jaspers do not fare well, but Vulin changed the tune with a double-digit victory in its first meeting in over a decade. Last season vs. Vermont, then-junior forward Petra Juric recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Ines Gimenez Monserrat tied Anne Bair with 13 points. The latter also recorded six free-throws in as many attempts in the victory. In non-conference finales during the Vulin era, the Jaspers are 3-5 - (Rutgers, Virginia, New Hampshire, Holy Cross, and Nebraska)
