RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College (4-9, 1-3 MAAC) men's basketball team will play Rider University this Friday at 7 p.m. at Alumni Gymnasium. Then will host Saint Peter's University this Sunday at 2 p.m. for Small Business Appreciation Day/Parents Day. 

Game Info: Rider University (4-11, 1-3 MAAC) tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and then hosts Saint Peter's University (8-5, 4-0 MAAC) on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPN+ and MAAC.TV (for international viewers). 

The Opponent: RIder won its last game against Canisius, 79-76, OT. Mervin James scored 21 points and six rebounds for the Broncs. Saint Peter's won its last game against Mount St. Mary's, 70-64. Corey Washington scored 25 points and had two rebounds for the Peacocks. 

Series Info: Last time out, Manhattan faced Rider on Feb. 5, 2023, with the Jaspers falling short, 67-56. Manhattan played Saint Peter's last year on Feb. 12, 2023, with Jaspers winning 68-52.

The Preview: The Jaspers were led in scoring by Seydou Traore who recorded 11 points and eight rebounds. Logan Padgett added 10 points and eight rebounds for Manhattan. 

What's Ahead: The Jaspers will host Fairfield on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. in Draddy Gymnasium.
