The Manhattan women's volleyball team is set to make their return to Draddy this week, with matches against Fairfield University at 3:00 pm on Saturday and Quinnipiac University at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
Special Announcement: During Saturday's matchup against Fairfield, Manhattan College athletics will host youth day for those aged 12 and under. Participants will receive free admission and an opportunity to meet the team.
Fairfield: The Jaspers last encountered the Highlanders last season, suffering a 3-0 defeat. The Jaspers currently trail the Stags with a 5-40 record in all-time matches. The Stags also faced a recent loss against Marist, with a 2-3 score.
Quinnipiac: Following that, the Jaspers will face the Bobcats. The Jaspers and the Bobcats are currently tied at 11-12, with the Jaspers trailing by one match. The last encounter between the Jaspers and Bobcats took place in Hamden, Conn., resulting in a 3-0 victory for the Bobcats.
Leaders: Leading the Jaspers in kills last week was Maike Bertens, with a total of 14, while Sarah Emmons contributed 28 assists. Bertens also made a defensive impact with 12 digs.
