HAMDEN, Conn. – Manhattan scored seven in the third quarter, but Quinnipiac answered with six in the fourth to collect a 15-14 win on Saturday.
 
Manhattan (6-7, 2-2 MAAC) trailed 7-6 at the half but then rattled off seven straight goals to take a 13-7 lead with 3:29 to play in the third quarter.
 
Ava Fernandes, Julianna Iovine, Emily Fiola, Ashley Bonitch, Reagan Mullins, and Jillian Reiner scored during the run. Mullins had four points during the stretch—two goals and two assists. Reiner's goal capped the run for the Jaspers. The Jaspers' next goal wouldn't come until Reiner scored with 52 seconds to play in the game.
 
Before the end of the third, Quinnipiac (6-6, 2-2) scored twice to get back within four. Amy Nicoloff scored both markers for the Bobcats.
 
With 5:09 to play, Mia Delmond tied the game at 13 with her second of three straight goals. Delmond gave the Bobcats their first lead since 7-5 with four minutes to play.
 
After Reiner scored with 52 seconds to go, Manhattan had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds. Bonitch had a free position chance with 24 seconds to go but was denied by Kat Henselder in the Bobcats' goal.
 
Mullins finished with six points—four goals and two assists—for the Jaspers. Reiner also scored four and added one assist. Eight different Jaspers registered at least a point.
 
The Jaspers are back in action on Wednesday at 3 p.m. when they visit Iona on ESPN+.
