RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Jaspers return home to take on Monmouth at Gaelic Park on Wednesday and are then back on the road against LIU on Saturday this week.
The Jaspers face off against the Hawks on Wednesday at 3 p.m. They then take on the Sharks on Saturday at 11 a.m.
The first match for Manhattan (2-0) of the week takes place at home against Monmouth (1-2). The Hawks last competed against Navy this past Saturday, losing 15-9. Later in the week, the Jaspers travel to Brookville, N.Y., to go up against LIU (1-2). The Sharks' most recent game was against Quinnipiac, where they defeated the Bobcats 13-6. Before the Sharks face the Jaspers, they faceoff against Vermont on Wednesday.
In last week's matchup against Fairleigh Dickinson, Manhattan played catch-up for the entirety of the first quarter of the game. The Jaspers' offensive push in the second quarter carried them to a 16-7 victory over the Knights.
Pacing the scoring for the Jaspers, last Saturday was Julianna Iovine and Ava Fernandes, both putting up hat-tricks. Following behind them were Reagan Mullins, Jilian Reiner, and Caroline D'Agostino, with two goals apiece.
