RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan women's basketball team will host the University of Vermont at Draddy Gymnasium this Saturday at 12 p.m.
The Preview: Last time out, the two teams played on Dec. 5, 2009, with the Jaspers falling short, 78-59.
The Opponent: Vermont (5-4) won its season opener against Miami (OH) 60-48. Through the last two games, Vermont is on a two-game winning streak. It won against Dartmouth (58-32) and Holy Cross (46-44). Delaney Richason led Vermont in scoring with 16 points and two rebounds. Emma Utterback recorded 13 points and 4 rebounds for Vermont against Holy Cross.
Leading the Way: Ines Gimenez Monserrat scored 13 points and five rebounds against UMBC in the Jaspers last outing. Nitzan Amar added 11 points and four rebounds in the home victory 68-52.

What's Ahead: Jaspers will host their first home conference game against Rider University on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. in Draddy Gymnasium.
