RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan women's basketball team will play at LIU this Thursday, December 21. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Steinberg Wellness Center. 

The Preview: The last time the two teams played was December 22, 2022. The Jaspers won, 73-47. 

The Opponent: LIU lost its opener against St. John's, 81-44. Through the last two games, LIU lost to Delaware State, 84-59, and Virginia Tech, 98-50. They were led in scoring by Ashley Austin's 15 points against Delaware, while Mariah Elohim scored 11 points against Virginia. 

Leading the Way: Nitzan Amar has a team-best 12.7 points per game. Anne Bair is next at 9.3 points per game, while Petra Juric is averaging 7.7 rebounds per game, including a pair of double-doubles.  

Away Games: Manhattan is 2-2 on the road after an 82-58 loss against Fairfield on Monday.

What's Ahead: Manhattan will continue to play on the road as it visits Hofstra University on Dec. 31. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
