RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball team opens up the 2023-24 season this Monday on the road at Bryant.
Game Info: Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Chace Athletic Center in Smithfield, R.I. The teams will meet for the second time in school history. Bryant won last year's meeting, 104-97 in Riverdale.

The Preview: The Manhattan men's basketball squad played in front of the public for the first time in an exhibition game at Saint Joseph's, falling 78-68. The Jaspers were led in scoring by Brett Rumpel, who had 15 points and six rebounds, shooting 58.3% from the floor. Xinyi Li hit a pair of three-pointers to finish with 13 points, including a 3-for-3 performance from the charity stripe. Seydou Traore led all Jaspers in rebounds with seven to go along with eight points.
Season Openers: Manhattan opens the season on the road for the second consecutive year. The Jaspers are 2-3 in season openers dating back to the 2018-19 season. Manhattan last won its season opener in a 99-42 victory over Manhattanville on Nov. 9, 2021.
What's Ahead: Manhattan will remain on the road as it travels to No. 1 Kansas on Friday, November 10. The game will air on ESPN+ with a tip time of 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET.
The Jaspers open up home play on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. versus Felician in Draddy Gymnasium.
