RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Following a 1-1 week up in Buffalo, the Manhattan women's basketball team prepares to welcome Quinnipiac to Draddy on Thursday, then a visit to the team atop the MAAC standings, Iona, on Saturday.

Thursday's game will feature the Jaspers celebrating the LGBTQ+ Community with a pride-themed game.
Last week, the team dropped a game on Thursday against Niagara but secured a bounce-back win over the Canisius Golden Griffins. In the final seconds of the first half against Canisius, Dee Dee Davis hit a free throw to move into 10th on the Jaspers' all-time scoring list, while two other Jaspers registered double-figures. Davis and Brazil Harvey-Carr finished with 13, and Jade Blagrove added 11 points of her own. The Jaspers owned the glass Saturday afternoon, outrebounding the Golden Griffins 52-30.
Thursday night will be the second meeting between the Jaspers and the Bobcats, with the first meeting being in Hamden on Dec. 19, with Quinnipiac coming away with a 69-55 victory. In that game, Davis led all scorers with 24 points and was the top rebounder, securing 11 rebounds.
Quinnipiac (11-7, 6-3 MAAC) will arrive in Riverdale after securing wins against Saint Peter's and Marist last week. In the Bobcat's tilt against Marist, Rose Caverly posted a season-high 18 points while connecting on 4-5 deep balls. Cur'Tiera Haywood is the team's leading scorer, averaging 11.9 points per game, while Mikala Morris contributes 10.8 points a game.
Saturday will be the season's first meeting between the Jaspers and the Gaels. Iona enters the week in pole position in the MAAC standings at 8-1 and 13-5 overall. Before they play the Green and White, the Gaels will meet Saint Peter's at home on Thursday. Last week Iona set an NCAA record by connecting on 15 straight 3-pointers in its win over Rider.
