Manhattan enters the week with an overall record of 6-10 and 3-4 in the MAAC. Last time out, the Jaspers put on a show on Kids Day against Siena, dominating the Saints from the opening tip in a 78-53 win. Dee Dee Davis had herself a game, scoring a career-high 37 points, the most points any MAAC player has scored in a single game this season, including outscoring the entire Siena team 17-12 in the first quarter, while hauling in 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. She also added four steals to her already impressive stat line.

Davis was not the only Jasper on their game that day. Brazil Harvey-Carr turned in a season-high 17 points while connecting on 5-9 attempts from beyond the arc. Jade Blagrove posted her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 boards. Helena Galunic went a perfect 4-4 from the field for eight points.

Niagara will welcome the Jaspers to Western New York amid a hot streak hot enough to warm up the entire frigid city of Buffalo. The team is riding a four-game win streak in the MAAC and is 5-1 since they took down the Green and White, 66-62, in Draddy Gym on New Year's Eve. In that game, the Jaspers got lost in the eye of the Purple Eagle's hurricane defense, committing 33 turnovers.

As for the Golden Griffins, since they were defeated in Draddy 73-68 on Dec. 29, they have only secured one win, an overtime victory over the Saint Peter's Peacocks, 79-74. The Jaspers overcame a 10-point deficit in the first meeting to score the win. Davis led the way with 28 points, while Bella Nascimento poured in 16 points while Harvey-Carr turned in 13 points and secured seven boards.
