RIVERDALE, NY – The Manhattan women's volleyball team is excited to finally be home and play their first games of the season in Draddy Gymnasium this weekend.

The Jaspers come home to Riverdale after a 10-game stretch on the road this weekend. The first match is against Saint Peters (0-13) on Saturday, Sept. 24th, at 1 p.m. Their second match is against Rider (3-8) Sunday, Sept. 25th, also at 1 p.m.

Manhattan (0-10), coming off a loss at FDU, is looking to get their first home win after their long stretch on the road. Julia Menocal and Kelly Markowski have led the Jaspers offense so far this season. The defense has been led by freshman Teresa Garza.

Saint Peters (0-13) is having a tough start to their season. The Peacocks are coming off a loss to Rider in their MAAC opener in four sets. Morgan Thurlow paces the offense for Saint Peter's. Five different Peacocks average over a kill per set.

Rider's (3-8) win over Saint Peter's last time out snapped a three-game losing streak. The Broncs will visit Iona before coming to Draddy on Sunday. Morgan Romano averages nearly three kills per set (2.98) to lead the Broncs.
