RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan women's soccer team (2-2) looks to return to the win column Thursday night with the team's final non-conference match at Stony Brook.
These two teams shared the pitch in the 2019 season, with Stony Brook eking out a 2-1 victory.
The 2-2 record is slightly deceiving to onlookers; the team has only conceded two total goals, which is tied for 22ed in the nation.
Kim Mains has played every minute in the net for the Jaspers, turning in two clean sheets to go along with 12 stopped shots, which leads the MAAC. Her owns a GAA of .500, which is also pacing all MAAC keepers and tied for 24th in the nation
The Seawolves, who enter the contest owning a 3-5 mark on the season, have used a high-powered offense to score the three wins they have earned thus far. Netting two goals against Fordham, three against Bryant, and an impressive five on LIU. The Seawolves have only been kept off the scoreboard once thus far.
