RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The men's lacrosse team plays at Vermont in the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament on Wednesday. Softball plays its final two regular-season games, and baseball has a three-game series facing off against Niagara, beginning on Friday. Track and field head to Virginia for the IC4A/ECAC Championships, and the women's rowing team heads to Philadelphia, Pa., before competing at the MAAC Championships on Sunday. 

On Saturday, for the first time in 20 years, Manhattan defeated St. Bonaventure and became the 2022 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Champions. The men's and women's track teams competed at the MAAC Championships in Lawrenceville, N.J., collecting four individual titles.  
 
On the same field they won in 2002, the men's lacrosse team defeated St. Bonaventure 8-7. Justin Malpica scored four goals in the championship, including a hat trick in the final, and was named the tournament's most valuable player. Liam WalsheLuke Pacher, and Tadhg O' Riordan were selected to the 2022 MAAC All-Championship Team, joining Malpica. 
 
The Manhattan men's track and field team finished fourth at the 2022 MAAC Championships. The Jaspers finished with 79 points and a pair of individual champions. Anu Awonusi in the shot put on Sunday and RJ Decker in the hammer on Saturday. 

The Jaspers finished fourth at the 2022 MAAC Championships on the women's side, with 55 points. After claiming a pair of conference titles, 
Nina Bjorkman was named Most Outstanding Field Performer. Bjorkman won the hammer and the discus.
  
The women's lacrosse team fell to top-seed Monmouth on Friday, 19-10, in the MAAC Semifinals. Grace Lipponer and Julianna Iovine each tallied a hat trick for the Jaspers. Ashley Gambardella made five saves in goal for the Green and White.  
  
The baseball team fell to Dartmouth on Sunday, 3-2, in 10 innings. Jack Lynch finished with a hit and one run scored. Trevor Santos went 1-for-2 on the day, with one run scored. Kyle Lesler got the start for the Jaspers, lasting six innings and securing three strikeouts. Manhattan took two of three from Dartmouth over the weekend.  

The Manhattan softball team split its Thursday doubleheader against Saint Peter's at home, 5-4 and 7-4. 
Marika Deemer got the start for the Jaspers in the second game and picked up her third win of the season after tossing a full game. Megan Gillooley blasted a three-run home run to left-center that left little doubt if it would clear the fence.
