RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan scored the final five points overtime and held Quinnipiac without a field goal in the extra session to win 73-69 on Wednesday night.

Defensively in overtime, Manhattan (18-10, 13-6 MAAC) forced three turnovers, recorded three blocks, and didn't allow any of Quinnipiac's (18-10, 13-6) eight shots to go in.

The only field goal made in overtime was a Dee Dee Davis contested- pull-up jumper from just off the lane. Davis' jumper gave Manhattan a 70-69 lead with less than 45 seconds to play.

Jade Blagrove made the final defensive play of the night. The sophomore blocked Amani Free's 3-pointer with three seconds to go in overtime when the Jaspers were up three, 72-69. The rejection was one of two on the night. Blagrove recorded 12 points and a career-high 14 rebounds.

Davis finished the night with a career-high 33 points. Fourteen of those points came in the first quarter. The junior added nine over the fourth quarter and overtime.

Manhattan trailed by a bucket inside the final minute when Davis found Petra Juric underneath for a lay-in with 34.4 seconds left to tie the game at 66. Juric finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocks. The 13 rebounds are a career-high. Davis set up the possession by drawing a charge on Rose Caverly at midcourt with 44 seconds to play.

Juric then blocked Mikala Morris with nine seconds to play in regulation, with the score tied at 66. The first-year Jasper added her fourth in overtime.
