Riverdale, NY - Manhattan dropped an 11-2 decision to Stanford in an elimination game at the Fayetteville Regional at Bogle Park.
* The Jaspers, which won their first MAAC Championship since 1999, end their season with a 22-16 record, while the Cardinal improve to 32-21.
* Sophomore Lauren Rende (Ardsley, NY / Ardsley) went 2-for-3 with a run to pace a five-hit Jasper attack, and reached base safely in four of her five trips to play this weekend on the strength of three singles and a walk.

* MAAC Championship Most Outstanding Player Nicole Williams (Ansonia, CT / St. Joseph's) concluded her career with another solid outing, striking out two while yielding five runs, three earned, on eight hits and one walk over 5.0 innings.
* Deemer also saw action on the mound, striking out a batter while yielding six runs, three earned, over 2.0 innings.
