Riverdale, NY - After a strong start from the Jaspers, the Stags proved to be too much winning the match in three straight sets (24-26, 13-25, 16-25). Despite good efforts from the Jaspers, Fairfield's offense overpowered Manhattan.

*The Jaspers would cause extra points to be earned in the first set for Fairfield to claim its first set point. In the first set alone, the Jaspers had 12 of their 31 kills of the match.

*Leading Manhattan in kills on the day was Senior setter/outside hitter Abby Wilde (Parkesberg, PA), collecting eight on the day. Right behind her heels, both Graduate Student middle blocker Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO) and Junior outisde hitter Lizzi Brown (Orlando, FL) collected seven kills of their own.

*Sophomore setter Camryn Paulson (Whitehouse Station, NJ) remains consistent in her set position collecting 25 during her time on the court, and only one error for the the match.

*Fairfield remains unbeaten in conference play, tallying a 9-0 record after today's match. The Stags were led by Junior outside hitter KJ Johnson and Senior outside hitter Emily Schillinger with 14 and nine kills respectively.

*The Jaspers return to the Nutmeg State to face Quinnipiac on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1:00 p.m.
