Montgomery Goal Propels Manhattan Past the Peahens

Box Score Riverdale, NY - After a scoreless first half, the Jaspers would earn their lone goal at the 48:26 mark coming out of halftime, and hold the Peahens scoreless for their third conference win and seventh of the season. Senior midfield/forward Eve Montgomery (Abington, MA) would score for the Jaspers with a shot to the lower right corner of the net and off an assist from Freshman defender Julia Nicholas (Avon, CT).

*Today's goal marks the third of the season for Montgomery and the first assist for Nichols.

*The Jasper offense proved to be too much for the Peahens to handle, outpacing their Saint Peter's rivals 13 shots to five. Seven of the Jaspers' shots would be on goal.

*Saint Peter's goalkeeper Annabelle Adams would record six saves during her 90 minutes between the pipes.

*The Jaspers will travel to Loudonville, NY to face Siena in their next conference matchup on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 3:00 p.m.
