LAST WEEK
- The Jaspers closed the non-conference portion of their schedule with two losses against Drexel and Wagner.
- The Dragons defeated the Kelly Green and White 13-7 on March 12, while the Seahawks took a 10-5 decision in Staten Island, NY on March 16.
WRAPPING UP THE NON-CONFERENCE
- Manhattan finished non-conference play this season at 5-3, the most wins outside of the MAAC since 2009.
- The defense allowed a meager 7.38 goals per game.
- On the offensive end, the Jaspers found the back of the net 66 times, with 37 assists coming from those scores. The J's recorded 201 shots in the eight games.
SPREAD THE WEALTH
- Eleven Jaspers tallied points in the first eight games of the season.
- Of the 103 total points, the senior class accounted for 43, freshman class 37, the junior class 14 and the sophomore class nine.

- The MAAC named senior Molly Fitzpatrick the Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week for March 20.
- She is the fifth Jasper student-athlete to earn this recognition in the 2018-2019 academic year.

- As a team, the Jaspers' .520 save percentage and 7.38 goals-against average sit atop the conference.
- The Kelly Green and White's 172 ground balls rank second.
- Manhattan's +7 scoring margin and 4.63 assists per game are third-best in the MAAC entering Friday's tilt.

INDIVIDUAL STAT RANKS
- Fitzpatrick's 22 goals this season slot into sixth in the MAAC. She is tied for third with 27 ground balls and 10th with 24 points and 42 shots.
- Freshman Cassidy Burns and senior Caitlin Murphy are tied for third and fifth in the league in assists, respectively. Burns has collected 10 helpers, while Murphy has added nine.
- Senior Emma Kaishian has a conference-high 32 ground balls this season and is seventh with 26 draw controls.
- Classmate Nikki Prestiano has the best goals-against average and save percentage among MAAC goalkeepers at 7.45 and .513.
NATIONAL STAT RANKS (AS OF MARCH 19)
- Manhattan's scoring defense is fourth-best in Division I women's lacrosse, while its team save percentage is eighth.
- The team's 21.5 ground balls per game is 19th in the country.
- Prestiano's GAA and save percentage put her third and 13th in the nation, respectively.
- Kaishian's four ground balls per game are third-best among NCAA qualifiers.

MILESTONE WATCH
- Fitzpatrick is four goals away from fourth place on the all-time goals list. Mary Dudek '05 currently holds that spot with 114 career tallies.
- The senior also needs one assist for sole possession of third place in program history.
- Prestiano and Murphy are within range of 100 career ground balls. The netminder has 98 in her career, while the midfielder has 92.
SCOUTING REPORT: CANISIUS
- The Golden Griffins slide into Friday's game with an 0-8 record, falling to Bryant 18-13 on Wednesday.
- Throughout the course of the season, Canisius has played three opponents ranked in the top 20.
- 2019 MAAC Preseason Player of the Year Jourdan Roemer paces the Canisius attack with 20 goals and six assists. Marissa Malvaso and Bryar Cummings each have 18 and 13 points, respectively.
- Three different goalkeepers have seen time in net, but Shannon Maroney has started the last four games.
SERIES HISTORY
- Manhattan duels Canisius in its conference opener for the third-consecutive year.
