- Freshman attacker Grace Lipponer became the first Jasper to record a hat trick in her collegiate debut in 11 seasons, but Manhattan dropped a 10-7 matchup to Vermont at Gaelic Park in the season opener on February 18.
- Senior tri-captain Molly Fitzpatrick added a pair of strikes, while fellow tri-captain and classmate Nikki Prestiano notched the 400th save of her career.

- Manhattan registered five assists off their seven goals on Monday.
- Freshour and junior midfielder Deb Peifer earned their first-career assists in the effort.

PRESTIANO POWER
- In her three-plus seasons between the pipes, Prestiano has played in all but two of Manhattan's 50 games since the start of the 2016 season.
- From her 48 career appearances, the Yorktown Heights, NY native has started in 46 of them.
- Her season averages translate to 133 saves per season, which would put her behind her predecessor, Christina Fiorinelli '15, for fourth all-time.
ABOUT THE 2019 JASPERS
- Manhattan returns 21 student-athletes from last season.
- 11 of those players made at least seven starts during the year.
- Third-year Head Coach Katie McConnell recruited seven new Jaspers as part of the Class of 2022.
SCOUTING REPORT: LA SALLE
- The Explorers are 1-0 on the young season, dispatching Manhattan's next opponent, LIU Brooklyn, 17-4 on February 16.
- 2018 A-10 All-Conference honoree Bridget Ruskey and sophomore Maddie Dachowski unloaded six goals each on the Blackbirds to pace La Salle.
- Goalkeeper Molly Loughlin only needed to make eight saves, allowing four goals in the winning effort.
- Katie Rhodes Abbott is in her first season as the head coach for the Explorers. She spent the past five seasons as the top assistant coach at Colgate. During her tenure, the Raiders posted 41 wins and four Patriot League Tournament appearances.
- La Salle was originally scheduled to play Delaware ahead of Saturday's game, but the contest was postponed to February 26.
SERIES HISTORY
- This is the third consecutive season as well as the third all-time meeting between the Jaspers and the Explorers.
- La Salle is 2-0 in the series against Manhattan, most recently defeating the J's 16-9 on March 16, 2018 at Gaelic Park. Ruskey led the Explorers and all scorers with six points, while Sarah Lang paced Manhattan with four tallies.
- Manhattan is 1-3 all-time against A-10 opponents.
ON THE HORIZON
- The Jaspers return to Riverdale on Wednesday, February 27 to host LIU Brooklyn. The opening draw is set for 4:00 pm.
