- The Jaspers enter this week 6-22 on the year and 3-12 in MAAC play. Rider sits at second in the conference at 14-14 and 11-5 in the MAAC. Marist (12-14, 10-6) is tied for fourth place in the league standings, while Siena (10-16, 5-10) sits in seventh.
- Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) remains ranked in the MAAC's top 10 for hitting percentage going into the final week of play, now at seventh with a .279 percentage for the year. Hoener has 100 blocks on the year and ranks seventh in the MAAC with 0.98 blocks per set.
- Libero Nashally Eleutiza (Orlando, FL / Monroe) currently sits at sixth in the MAAC for digs per set, averaging 4.27. Last week, she earned her first Libero of the Week honor from the conference, and she is just 36 digs away from Manhattan's single season top 10 list.
- In their last meeting with the Rider Broncs, Manhattan fell in four sets at home. Manhattan took the opening set 25-20 before dropping the next three by a score of 25-21, 25-20, 25-23. Vivian Donovan (Newport Beach, CA / Newport Harbor) led the Jaspers' attack against Rider, earning 12 kills. She hit .154 on the day and added three digs.
- Manhattan also took Marist to four sets in the first meeting of the two teams on October 20. Donovan and Julia Menocal (Bronx, NY / Preston) each earned 14 kills on the day, with Donovan making it a double-double with 16 digs.
- The Jaspers swept Siena at home on October 19, with Menocal contributing 13 kills to the offense.
- Rider freshman Morgan Romano currently leads the MAAC in total kills (476), kills per set (4.562), total points (540) and points per set (5.24). She is third in the nation in total points and also ranks fourth in all of Division I in kills.
- Marist is coming off a five-set loss to Canisius this past weekend, though the Red Foxes have clinched a spot in the upcoming MAAC tournament.
- Megan Fergus leads Marist's attack with 3.78 kills per set on .209 hitting. She adds 0.80 blocks per set, a team-high.
- Sunday's match will be the regular season final for both Manhattan and Siena.
- Nicole Doebler averages 2.95 kills per set for the Saints, while teammate Abby Huffman contributes 0.87 blocks per set.
