DeLeo Leads Manhattan To 2-0 Win Over Saint Peter's

Junior Bri DeLeo (Harriman, NY / Monroe-Woodbury) scored a goal and assisted on another to lift Manhattan to a season-ending 2-0 win over Saint Peter's at Gaelic Park.

The Jaspers conclude the season with a 4-11-2 record, including a 3-5-2 mark in the MAAC, while the Peacocks finish up at 3-13-1 and 1-8-1 in the league.

Manhattan opened the scoring in the 25th minute when DeLeo juked a pair of defenders, before finding junior Shelby Jones (Greenville, NC / Junius H. Rose) for an easy chip-in from right in front of the net. The Jaspers added to their lead early in the second half as DeLeo scored her fourth goal of the season in the 52nd minute to provide the final 2-0 score.

Seniors Olivia Printy (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL / St. Joseph Academy) and Camryn Nici (Seaford, NY / St. Anthony's) each made three saves in net in combining to post the second Manhattan clean sheet of the season.

The Jaspers posted advantages on shots (19-12) and shots on goal (8-6), with each team registering four corner kicks.

Victoria Scarratt turned away six shots in a losing effort for the visitors.

* The Jaspers are now 33-3-6 over their last 42 matches when scoring first, dating back to the 2014 season.
