Warley and Julie Hoier (Aabyhoej, Denmark / Marselisborg Gymnasium) each earned career-highs in blocks Thursday night, combining for all of Manhattan's 11 in the game. Warley nabbed six, besting her previous high of five and recording the MAAC's best blocking performance of the season, while Hoier earned four. Hoier also had a career night on the boards, grabbing 10 total, the first double-digit rebounding night of her career.
MAAC Numbers
The Jaspers continue to hold opponents to less than 60 points per game, ranking second in the MAAC (59.5 scoring defense). Manhattan is the conference's fourth-best rebounding team, with 37.4 boards per contest. The team blocks more than four shots per game (leading the MAAC), and averages more than nine steals per game (fifth in the league).
After nabbing 11 rebounds against Niagara, Warley leads the MAAC in rebounding, averaging 8.3 a game this season. She also leads the conference in offensive boards, with 3.8 per game.
