Riverdale, NY - Fresh off its first win of the year, Manhattan returns home to host Binghamton on Thursday, September 6 at 6:00 pm before concluding non-conference play at Fordham on Sunday, September 9 at 1:00 pm in the annual 'Battle of the Bronx.'
Last Time Out
The Jaspers had their match at UNF canceled due to inclement weather in the Jacksonville area. It marked the first cancelation since a snowstorm didn't allow Manhattan and Rider to play on October 30, 2011.

Annie Doerr scored the game-winning goal off a feed from classmate
Nicole Copping in the 87th minute in lifting the Jaspers to a thrilling 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Jacksonville. Classmate
Victoria Reis tied it up in the 81st minute after the Dolphins had opened the scoring two minutes earlier.
Career Updates
Doerr's first career game-winning score was also the fourth goal during her time in Riverdale while Reis' strike was her second. Copping's helper was her ninth assist at Manhattan.

Senior
Kelly DiGregorio made three saves at Jacksonville in earning her 10th career win. On the year, she ranks 30th nationally with 6.0 saves per game to go along with a 1.67 GAA and a .783 save percentage.

Notes From Jacksonville
* Manhattan avenged a 4-0 loss to Jacksonville in 2003 in evening up the all-time series at 1-1 while improving to 3-2 against the Atlantic Sun.
* The Jaspers have now won three-straight against A-Sun opposition, besting NJIT in each of the previous two seasons.
* By virtue of the victory, Manhattan has also now won three of its last four games in the state of Florida.
* The Jaspers had their third different starting line-up in as many games.
* Manhattan posted advantages in corner kicks (6-2) and shots on goal (7-4).

Binghamton enters with a 2-3-1 record and will be squaring off with Manhattan for the third-straight season. Reigning America East Striker of the Year Kayla Saager paces the Bearcat attack with three goals and two assists.

Preseason All-MAAC
Saul and Montefusco were each named to the preseason All-MAAC squad after each notching All-MAAC honors a year ago. Saul broke out in a big way as a junior, tying for the MAAC lead with nine assists to go along with four goals. Saul also scored a point in 11 matches while ranking ninth in the league with 17 points. Montefusco established herself as a top scoring threat, finishing third in the MAAC with nine goals and fifth with 21 points. She also garnered MAAC All-Tournament accolades after scoring two goals in Manhattan's semifinal victory over Quinnipiac, including the game-winning score.
The Senior Class
Saul, Copping, Doerr, DiGregorio, Reis,
Sara Naessig and
Caroline Taylor have helped Manhattan to a solid 28-24-7 (16-8-6 MAAC) record and the programs' first two trips to the MAAC Finals over their first three-plus seasons on campus.

The senior class has 28 wins, which is the eighth-most wins by a class in program history.

Gemma Perez all garnered MAAC All-Rookie Team accolades in 2017 with Harwood also earning a spot on the All-MAAC Second Team.

Manhattan was selected to finish fourth in the annual MAAC preseason poll.

Non-Conference Noise
The Jaspers will play five non-conference games against schools from three leagues. Manhattan will square off with La Salle and Fordham from the Atlantic 10, Hartford and Binghamton from the America East and Jacksonville from the Atlantic Sun.
