Manhattan and Monmouth last met in the 2017 MAAC Championship with the Hawks registering a 5-1 victory to claim the title.

2018 All-MAAC Second Team selection sophomore Sydney Harwood made her season debut in the 1-1 draw against Fairfield, becoming the 24th different Manhattan student-athlete to see the field this year.
Between The Pipes
Senior Kelly DiGregorio made seven saves against Fairfield and is averaging 5.5 stops each time out (48th NCAA). DiGregorio, who made a career-high nine saves at La Salle also has a .786 save percentage (137th NCAA) and a 1.47 GAA.
Ah The Sunshine State
In the Jaspers' thrilling 2-1 win at Jacksonville, Doerr scored the game-winning goal off a feed from Copping in the 87th minute. After the Dolphins opened the scoring in the 79th minute, senior Victoria Reis tied it up in the 81st minute while setting the stage for Doerr's heroics.
UNF Match Canceled
Manhattan had its match at UNF canceled due to inclement weather in the Jacksonville area. It marked the first cancelation since a snowstorm didn't allow Manhattan and Rider to play on October 30, 2011.
Hogan Lights The Lamp
Freshman Kaitlyn Hogan scored her first career goal in the home opener against Hartford while sophomore Shelby Jones notched her first career assist on the play.
DeLeo Finds The Back Of The Net
Sophomore Bri DeLeo scored her first goal of the year and the second of her career in Manhattan's 1-1 draw with Binghamton.
Non-Conference Noise
The Jaspers played five non-conference games against schools from three leagues. Manhattan squared off with La Salle and Fordham from the Atlantic 10, Hartford and Binghamton from the America East and Jacksonville from the Atlantic Sun.
Preseason All-MAAC
Saul and Montefusco were each named to the preseason All-MAAC squad after each notching All-MAAC honors a year ago. Saul broke out in a big way as a junior, tying for the MAAC lead with nine assists to go along with four goals. Saul also scored a point in 11 matches while ranking ninth in the league with 17 points. Montefusco established herself as a top scoring threat, finishing third in the MAAC with nine goals and fifth with 21 points. She also garnered MAAC All-Tournament accolades after scoring two goals in a semifinal victory over Quinnipiac, including the game-winning score.
The Senior Class
Saul, Copping, Doerr, DiGregorio, Reis, Sara Naessig and Caroline Taylor have helped Manhattan to a solid 28-26-9 (16-9-7 MAAC) record and the Jaspers' first two trips to the MAAC Finals over their first three-plus seasons on campus.
All-Time
The senior class has 28 wins, which is the eighth-most victories by a class in program history.

DeLeo, Harwood and Perez all garnered MAAC All-Rookie Team accolades in 2017.
Jaspers Tabbed Fourth
Manhattan was selected to finish fourth in the annual MAAC preseason poll.
