Manhattan drops to 0-15 on the year and 0-4 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, while Quinnipiac moves to 3-11 overall and 2-2 in the league.
Highlights:
- Freshman Donovan's six kills Sunday makes her the team leader in MAAC play at 19. She has 59 for the season, just one short of teammate Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word), who leads the Jaspers at 60 for the season. Senior middle blocker Kenza Hall (Oakland, CA / Middle Tennessee State) followed close behind with five kills in Sunday's match.
- Hoener and freshman Julia Menocal (Bronx, NY / Preston) tallied two blocks each against the Bobcats. Hoener now has 102 blocks for her career and leads the team with 32 overall this season. She remains ranked 10th in the MAAC with 0.74 digs per set.
- Alyssa Rehrer (Lorton, VA / South County) finished the match with 21 assists and nine digs, just one dig off another double-double after earning the first of her career Saturday at Fairfield. Rehrer now has 1,232 digs for her career, just five short of tying Alison Lind (1993-1996) for seventh place on the program's all-time digs list at 1,237.
- The Jaspers committed 14 attack errors in the match vs. Quinnipiac's 16. The performance was the third-lowest amount of attack errors so far this season for Manhattan.
- Quinnipiac's Morgan Sherwin earned a match-high 14 kills Sunday. She ranks seventh in the MAAC in kills per set at 2.86. Her teammate Lydia Jones had 13 kills on the day.
- The Bobcats put together a hitting percentage of .314 for the three sets, including a .469 opening set. The Jaspers were able to hold Quinnipiac to .156 hitting in the second, in what proved to be a nail-biter of a set that included five lead changes and 10 tied scores, but ultimately went to QU.
- The Bobcats' Kaleigh Oats topped the match with three blocks, while Kat Miller added two.
The Jaspers return home Saturday, September 29 against Niagara at 1:00 pm in Draddy Gymnasium.
